As a ‘not for profit’ based movement, the YMCA at Lakeside uses charitable donations, fundraising and surplus trading funds from our professional development work to help support and subsidise young people from all backgrounds. It is especially used for those from disadvantaged backgrounds and special needs, for whom this experience can be truly life changing.
Friends of Lakeside is the voluntary fundraising arm of the YMCA National Centre Lakeside. Its aim is to develop, extend and support fundraising activity to enable the centre to ‘Help young people build a future’
