Lakeside YMCA Seasonal Vacancies:
Lakeside YMCA is a very busy Outdoor Adventure and Education Activity Centre, running programmes for Children, Youth and Adults. To help us through our busy season we are looking to fill the following vacancies:
Instructor (Seasonal)
Set in a stunning location on the shores of Windermere, Lakeside specialises in the delivery of outdoor adventure and developmental activity programmes. This is an excellent opportunity to be based in the Lake District for the season, where down time can be spent exploring and experiencing for yourself what Cumbria Tourism describes as the UK Adventure Capital.
You need a minimum of one NGB assessment and one NGB training from the
following: Summer ML, SPA, RYA Dinghy Instructor or BCU L1 Coach plus 3*.
Health and Safety Officer (Seasonal)
To help us through the peak season we need additional Health and Safety Officers, to assure the safety of our clients and staff to the high levels of our reputation. This is a key role with up to 60 staff reliant on you, so that they can deliver safe, adventurous, exciting and inspiring activities to our clients here in the Lake District. If you can clearly demonstrate the high levels of knowledge and experience required in this role, have excellent people skills, and can be a great role model, then we would like to hear from you.
