(Seasonal 3rd March – 29th August 2014) £6.34 per hour plus subsidised on-site accommodation and meals.
The season starts with 2 intense weeks of paid induction training from highly qualified and experienced staff. Our outdoor education and adventure programmes are delivered to a wide range of clients including schools, colleges, youth-groups, corporate and family. Through these we aim to give you the opportunity to learn and develop, to broaden your instructional skills and deepen your understanding of Learning Outside the Classroom.
Good staff will have the opportunity to extend contracts into the autumn. This year some staff will work until the end of November. Permanent roles may become available at the end of the season.
You need a minimum of one NGB assessment and one NGB training from the following: Summer ML, SPA, RYA Dinghy Instructor or BCU L1 Coach plus 3* and will be able to demonstrate a good level of previous instructional experience.
Volunteer instructors x 4
(Seasonal 28th Mar – 29th Aug 2014) £50 a week expenses plus full board and accommodation.
This is designed for those of you who do not have sufficient qualifications and or experience yet. We offer you the chance to join our team and learn on the job. If you gain the NGBs and demonstrate the skills during the season we will upgrade you to an Instructor contract.
Extensions to contracts are usually available for some staff. To be successful you must be seriously working towards a career in the outdoors and ready to make the best of all the opportunities available to you.
