3 x Night Warden-Caretaker  (March 4th  – 27th October 2019 with additional Seasonal contracts available)  To support the Centre’s operation during the evenings, and overnight. This is a waking watch role throughout the night with a variety of client needs and facilities to care for.  You will be dependable and conscientious, so that you can conduct your duties well without high levels of direct supervision and your professional relationship with the clients adds real value to their experience. Shifts occur whenever we have clients staying overnight and the role is on a rota e.g. 3 night on 4 nights off.  £7.83/hr (£14250 PA pro-rata average 35 hour week) Accommodation is provided for when you are on duty & if you require full time accommodation, a small charge will be made.

 Outdoor Activity Instructors approximately 50 staff required. There will be a variety of roles, of different duration, responsibility, and pay levels available. As a minimum, we need you to have at least 1 of the following: Dinghy Instructor or Paddle-sport Leader or Rock Climbing Instructor or Mountain Leader, a season of outdoor activity instructional experience and be working towards another NGB from the following, Dinghy Instructor or Paddle-sport Leader or Rock Climbing Instructor or Mountain Leader. We will recognise previous awards as alternatives, (e.g. BCU Level 1 coach plus a 3 star in either Canoe or Kayak) please ask if unclear. For all the above roles, the working hours are scheduled to meet the needs of the various clients and this will at times include evening and /or  weekend duties. Opportunities to continue at YMCA Lakeside for the following year are offered towards the end of the season
