Important date change to charity Mud Dash
The date has changed for the Lakeside Mud Dash.
As the race is now expected to attract around 500 participants and spectators, the inaugural Lakeside Mud Dash will take place Easter 2018. Tony Ball, Programme Operations Manager, explains:
“It’s the first time we’ve held such a large charity event at Lakeside and it’s important that we get things right. As we’re now anticipating more participants than originally expected, we’ve taken the decision to postpone the event until Easter next year.”

There will still be two mud-filled courses to choose from. There’s a 5km course or, for more adventurous runners, a 10km course to tackle.
The event will be open to anyone aged 11 years or older and there will be plenty of activities to keep spectators entertained during the day.
All in a good cause
As well as a fun day out, you’ll be helping us to raise money for our Changing Young Lives Appeal. We currently have £6.3m towards the £6.8m we need to build our new South Camp accommodation. The new development means that we can continue to welcome future generations of young people to Lakeside, and help them to reach their potential.
