Ullswater is the second largest body of water in the Lake District.
It’s 7.5 miles long, on average ¾ mile wide and has a maximum depth of 205 feet.

Ullswater is clear and deep. The deepest part is home to a fish known as a Skelly, which is similar to a freshwater herring.
