How your views will help us to help you
This season we’re inviting everyone who takes part in one of our Lakeside programmes to complete a short, online ‘impact’ survey when they return home.
It’s completely confidential. We don’t capture personal information so you can be completely honest with your comments. The aim is to make sure that we continue to improve our programmes to make sure that they develop the skills delegates need to be successful in the workplace. Tony Ball, Programme Operations Manager Lakeside, said:
“All our adventure programmes are designed to build confidence and develop skills, such as leadership and teamwork that improve performance in the workplace. The information you provide in the surveys will give us a better understanding of the impact our programmes have on delegates and how we can make our courses even more effective in the future.”
Helping more young people
As well as improving our programmes, by completing the survey you’ll also be helping more young people. As a charity, at YMCA Lakeside we apply for equipment funding and receive bursaries to work with disadvantaged young people. The survey results will provide us with robust data on the benefits of the Lakeside experience, which will strengthen our future funding applications, as Tony said:
“By having your say, you’ll be helping us to help even more young people in the future.”
Please have your say
Following a visit to Lakeside, you’ll be sent an invitation, which includes a web-link to the survey. Later this year, we’ll publish the collated results on our website.
