New date announced for Lakeside charity Mud Dash

New date set for the Lakeside Mud Dash

The Lakeside Mud Dash will now take place on Saturday 28th April 2018.

Around 500 participants and spectators are expected to take part in the inaugural Lakeside Mud Dash, which is being held to raise money for our Changing Young lives Appeal.

Tony Ball, Programme Operations Manager, said:

“It will be the largest charity event we’ve ever held at Lakeside and we’re all looking forward to it. It’s a great chance to show off our fantastic location to people who haven’t visited Lakeside before, as well as raise money that will benefit thousands more young people in the future.”

There will be two mud-filled courses to choose from: a 5km course or, for more adventurous runners, a 10km course to tackle.

The event will be open to anyone aged 11 years or older and there will be plenty of activities to keep spectators entertained during the day.

All in a good cause

As well as a fun day out, you’ll be helping us to raise money for our Changing Young Lives Appeal. We currently have £6.3m towards the £6.8m we need to build our new South Camp accommodation. The new development means that we can continue to welcome future generations of young people to Lakeside, and help them to reach their potential. Read more about our appeal at
