How your views will help to give more young people a better future
This season we’re inviting everyone who takes part in one of our Lakeside programmes to complete a short, online survey when they return home.
We really do want to hear from everyone, so there will be two surveys: one for teachers and leaders and one for students and young people.
It’s also completely confidential, with no personal information captured, so you can be completely honest with your comments. The aim is to help us continually improve our services and help more young people. Tony Ball, Programme Operations Manager Lakeside, said:
“All our adventure programmes are designed to build confidence, develop skills and set young people on the path to a better future. The information you provide in the surveys will give us a better understanding of the impact our programmes have on young people and how we can make them even more effective in the future.”
Helping more young people
As well as improving our programmes, by completing the survey you’ll also be helping more young people. As a charity, at YMCA Lakeside we apply for equipment funding and receive bursaries to work with disadvantaged young people. The survey results will provide us with robust data on the benefits of the Lakeside experience, which will strengthen our future funding applications, as Tony said:
“By having your say, you’ll be helping us to help even more young people in the future.”
Please have your say
Following a visit to Lakeside, you’ll be sent an invitation, which includes a web-link to the survey. Later this year, we’ll publish the collated results on our website.
